• You can use every public calculator without creating an account or giving us personal information.
• Calculators work out results in your browser. The calculators currently on the site do not send the values you enter to our servers.
• Public pages do not set cookies and do not use advertising, analytics or other tracking services.
• Like any website, the site's hosting and delivery systems process basic technical information about requests in order to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
• If you email us, we receive your email address and your message, and use them to deal with your enquiry.

When your browser requests a page, it sends technical information that every website receives. This typically includes your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, your browser and device type, and the address of the page that linked to ours, if any.

This information is needed to deliver pages to you, to keep the site working, and to detect and prevent abuse such as attacks or automated misuse. We do not use it to build profiles of visitors or to advertise to you.

The values you enter into a calculator are processed in your browser to produce the result. The calculators currently on the site do not send those values to our servers, and they are not saved to our database.

The math calculator keeps a short history of your recent calculations so you can reuse them. That history exists only in the open page: it is not stored on your device or sent anywhere, and it is cleared when you reload or close the page.

Even so, we recommend using example values rather than sensitive personal data whenever a calculation allows it. If a future calculator needs to send information to our servers to work, this policy will be updated before that calculator is published, and its page will say so.

Public pages of the site do not set cookies, and they do not store information in your browser's local or session storage.

The site's administration area, which is used only by the people who run the site, uses an essential cookie to keep administrators signed in. That cookie is set only after an administrator signs in. Visitors using the calculators do not need an account and do not receive it.

The site has no contact form. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if your email includes it, and anything you write in the message.

We use this information only to read and respond to your message, to investigate a problem or correction you report, and to improve the site. Messages are handled in our email service and are not stored in the website's database. We keep correspondence only as long as needed for these purposes.

Please do not send sensitive information by email. The Contact page explains what to include in a calculator report and what to leave out.

Hosting, security and content delivery systems may record technical information about requests, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, times, response codes and browser details, in logs. These logs are used to operate the site, diagnose errors and protect against abuse.

Some of these systems are operated by our hosting and infrastructure providers, which process this information on our behalf and keep it for limited periods under their own retention practices.

The site is designed to be served over HTTPS, which encrypts the connection between your browser and the site. Administrative access is restricted and requires authentication.

No method of transmitting or storing information over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Collecting as little information as possible is part of how we limit risk.

The site does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising networks, remarketing, social media widgets or embedded third-party content. Fonts are served from the site itself rather than loaded from a third-party font service.

The site relies on hosting and infrastructure providers to run, as described above.

Calculator pages may link to external sources, such as official publications. When you follow such a link, you leave this site, and the other site's own privacy practices apply.

If we decide to add analytics, advertising or another service that processes visitor information, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.

The site is a general-audience reference tool that anyone can use without providing personal information. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

You can use the calculators without giving us any personal information.

If you have emailed us, you can ask us to tell you what correspondence we hold from you, to correct it, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under data protection law, and you can contact us to exercise them.

Your browser also gives you control over cookies and other site data. Because public pages do not set cookies, blocking cookies does not affect the calculators.

We will update this policy when the way the site processes information changes, including before any new service that processes visitor information is introduced. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
